When I first install Mandrake 5.3, Gimp runs fine. I've installed gtk 1.2 and glib 1.2 in order to get the latest version of x11amp to work. now, when i attempt to run gimp, absolutely nothing happens! i've tried the icon on the desktop and actually running it from a terminal window. i get no errors anywhere that i can find.
any ideas?
