that's my card.
Linux recognizes it and uses the kernel 3c509
according to linuxconf.
But it wont activate or retrieve an IP.
My card is hooked up to a 2 way cable modem (Mediaone xpress)
It all works perfectly under windows.
On boot in linux and when I click the activate button in linuxconf, I
get the message:
"Delaying eth0 initialization"
I've spent 3 days trying everything I and other people could think of
FAQ's, Howto's.
There's a page that has C-source for an updated driver 3c509 but I don't
know it that will fix it and I don't know how to download it in windows
and move it to my linux partition or howto compile it.
Help!
