I recompiled a 2.2 Kernel last week and set up IP masquerading on my home
machine so my Linux box is working as an internet gateway.
I just went to setup my Sound card, and after running sndconfig, I get a
message saying that "you don't seem to be running a Kernel with Modular
sound enabled".
I am sure I added sound system support and support for the AWE32 card that
is going in the machine.
I went back and looked at the file that the make config creates and is shows
that I did enable it.
Do I have to update anything else to get it to work? Did I miss somthing
else ?
