I just istalled version 6.0 (previous was 5.0). Now when I start up ppp, using my old 5.1 ppp-on script, the ppp0.pid is placed in /etc/ppp instead of /var/run. Is this the way this is supposed to work in version 6.0, is there a fix for this? The same thing happens when I use linuxconf to make the ppp connection, or if I use kppp. Thanks, Mike Norris
