Gooday Folks;

Acer Aspire
233 AMD K6 c/w MMX
64 mb RAM
6.4 gig HD

I installed the Macmillian Publishing version of the Linux-Mandrake Red Hat
6.0 yesterday.
I used the Partition Magic included to partition my drive, and using LILO I
can boot up to either O/S. Win boots up fine, but the Linux side of life
produces the following error message, when

"checking root filesystem"

it says..

/dev/hda3 contains a filesystem with errors, check forced.

after a brief period it then says...

/dev/hda3    :Unattached inode 371486

/dev/hda3    Unexpected inconsistency;
                     Run fsck manually
                     ie: without -a or -p options

I looked thru the list archives and the only error that seems similar, it
has been suggested that the newest kernel be downloaded, as there is some bugs.

Any ideas?  :)

Is it software..or my installation or partition was not right?

Thanks for any and all help.
