I was told to type boot root=/dev/hda2 3 (and change as needed), but i am not sure what to change it too. the hard drive i want is the second one (b), so i change it as requested. but when i type boot root=/dev/hdb2 3 i get an error like "kernel panic- cant open 00:03" or something to that extent. i know there must be something that i am looking over. thank you jerrud
