Well, unless you know precisely what you are doing with autofs, dump it. 
 It doesn't play nice with several other things that mandrake uses heavily.

How about providing a print-out of fstab

cat /etc/fstab

and

dmesg | grep hd

For us to look at, then we can guide you better
