Hello everyone! I'm new this forum. I just installed
Mandrake for the first time! However, I'm having some
problems with the keyboard repeating itself (ie.,
keeybbooardd)

I have installed Mandrake 8.2 on my Toshiba Satellite
1405-S151 labtop computer as a duel-boot OS. I have KDE
installed as my GUI. The keyboard is configured for US.

I have searched some lists have found and have tried the
following possible solutions...

1. Turning off the "Keyboard Repeat" under the Advanced
tab in the keyboard configuration under Configuration ->
KDE -> Peripherals -> Keyboard.

2. Adjusting the Option AutoRepeat under Input Settings in
the /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 file.

3. Adjusting the BIOS setting on my labtop (there aren't
any for keyboard repeat/delay?!)

Anyways, I'm pretty much lost at this point. If anyone has
a possible solution that would be great. This problem
basically makes my labtop useless at the command line.

- Thanks in advance, Rob B.
