Hello Warren,

There's Evolution, http://www.ximian.com/products/ximian_evolution/
You can download the client for free.  They have a spanish version somewhere. It's 
pretty much like Outlook without the problems. 

For an email client I just went back to Sylpheed and use the Korganizer 
for trying to keep up with things. I find Sylpheed a lot faster though still 
being developed.
