strange.....my Mandrake9.0 has DMA turned on all over, at least that's what gpowertweak tells me. Beside that /etc/sysconfig/harddisks doesn't exist on my box here. Could it be 'cause I upgraded from my 8.2 or do we have different 9.0's?? Good luck, Harm
