When Mandrake starts up, a list of various drivers/modules/devices scrolls on the screen. I'm sure you all know what I'm talking about. Strangely enough, the first time I installed Mandrake Linux, this list was displayed in the text console. Since I reinstalled Mandrake, the list scrolls past in a X-Windows graphical screen. Does anyone know why that is? What happened to change that behaviour? Thanks for any input!
