Yep i have had lots of head scratching getting it working. I installed Myspell, and it still didn't work, but the clue is in the message below.
You have to go into Tools > Options > Language Settings >Writing Aids and then check the first box in the top section (turning on MySpell spell checker). BUT you then have to go into the edit option on the right of this box and enable it for oo.
