Hi Derek! I'm still using StarOffice5.2 both on mdk8.2 and 9! The question was about mdk9! It was not necessary to use your suggestion, (yet).... I found a 'no lock' options on /etc/fax.config and just commented it out! Tks for your help! How about receiving? It modem does answer but, there no "agreement" with a plain fax machine and my modem!
