I've got 8.2 up and running, but would > really like to go with 9.0..... > You could locate the module that loads the driver, and rename it - then it won't get loaded, and after that, you can rebuild your modules.conf so that it won't ever get loaded (that is, if you don't want to load it)...and rebuild your /etc/initrd.img so that the mods aren't loaded as well...
