Because MCC is dependent on scripts - and paths - you might want to make
sure that you've gotten all your paths straight - you can check through
your /etc/profile and make sure that /sbin and /usr/sbin are in your
path statement, as well as making sure that the following are in your
/etc/ld.so.conf:
/usr/lib
/usr/local/lib 

...then rerun ldconfig to rebuild the cache.

Reboot and see if you can startup MCC again! Cheers!
