This is most interesting.  I have the Audigy, and I believe it is using 
emu10k2 driver.  I would like to try the tool file, particularly as I have 
the front panel, and I have never befroe seen anything about the possibility 
of using it.  Do you know if the file you mention is compatible with emu10k2?  
I think I shall try to find a way of asking Creative about this, though it's 
amazing how difficult some manufacturers make it.  You'd think they didn't 
want our money
