I installed the system again. I thought if I had a fresh start everything would work out. Well, at least I got the modem to work without problems. I think I am really out of luck. Any audio cd I try to copy with xcdroast goes wrong. I also tried to encode the audio cd files into wav files with cdda2wav, but the problem persists. It is said there is a kind of mismatch because the program cannot read all the tracks.
