My mistake Tom, lmsensors asks you for a preference towards the end of its run
and you do pick one or the other. If I pick smbus, I don't get temps or fans.
ISA does give me all I need.

Mine rc.local looks like this:

# Settings for LMsensors
# I2C adapter drivers
modprobe i2c-viapro
modprobe i2c-isa
# I2C chip drivers
modprobe adm1021
modprobe it87

and module.conf looks like this:

alias char-major-89 i2c-dev
options adm1021 ignore=0,0x4e

Thanks!
