I just asked it to --list-all, and it gives me an error. Maybe it's pkg-config that needs the pygtk2.0-devel package?
Anyway, thanks for all the help. I'll try it out tonite after work and report back. Then i'll add it to my growing list of "Things you'll probably have to do when installing on a new machine."

Fair warning: AFAIK Pygtk needs a boatload of deps... I mean a HUGE amount of them. Don't know why...its a sore spot with some pythoners I understand too.
