If you install the drakwizard RPM there is a setting in Mandrake control Centre for ntpd Alternatively it is easy to set up by hand Put the host name or IP address of your reference source in /etc/ntp/step-tickers and your local clock will be synced to the reference when you boot up and will then run on internal clock afterwards. Put the line server IP_address in the file /etc/ntp.conf and the ntpd daemon will continually fine tune the clock to the remote server. A list of public servers may be found here http://www.eecis.udel.edu/~mills/ntp/servers.html derek -- ---------------------------------- www.jennings.homelinux.net
