There are ways of using a box as a relay - but you might want to double check your POSTFIX setup/configuration; mine was being used for a short while after I made some changes to SENDMAIL (cuz I don't use POSTFIX) and I kept finding emails in my system's outbound queue that weren't anything sent by me - it was a relay...so just a few changes to allowable outbound domains (actually I got rid of everything in there so NOTHING was a relay-trusted domain) and no mo probs. Bear in mind that Charlie M's explanation of how Outhouse/Lookout is able to "spoof" things is also holding true right now...so just check everything to be sure. stephen kuhn - owner ============================== illawarra computer services a kuhn media australia company http://kma.0catch.com ------------------------------------------------------------------ * This message was composed on a 100% Microsoft free computer * We expressly refuse to utilise Microsoft DRM encoded documents ------------------------------------------------------------------ Love is what you've been through with somebody. -- James Thurber
