Then anyone who wants to be will be > root... it is possible, but not trivial, to use have your /home/anarky folder mounted as an encrypted file system, and long-in using pam. that way even if they steal your laptop, the files are safe. of course, if "They" reallllly want your files, they could install a custom login mangler that keeps (or sends) your login password and return the computer to you, then the next time you login, they would have the password, then they could ssh, or steal the computer. but it would be pretty safe from your local police (or wife) seeing your ahhhh,,, pictures.
