I was wanting to upgrade Open Office to 1.1 (I currently have 1.0.2 - on MD 9.1)
I dl the tar ball and untarred it. Now I have some questions about the instillation.
Should I replace my existing installation or install it in another directory (which is what I think it is trying to do)?
Where is the existing directory?
If I install it into another directory, should I then uninstall the older version?
Is 1.1 even stable (should have been my first question ah :-))
