I tried SuSE about 2 years ago. They were using a set of init files to overwrite the init files at boot time. It drove me crazy as I could not get my settings as I wanted them, without figuring out how to do it the SuSE way. And I just went back to RH, and then Mandrake. And because of that, I probably wouldn't try it until it was the last distro on earth. Rob
