Then try 'nobiospnp acpi=off noapic' Both acpi and apic affect interrupt handling and resources, so you'll need to experiment to find which is the problem. The need for these options indicates deficient hardware ( motherboard/bios). For most system acpi is the problem. -- Tom Brinkman Corpus Christi, Texas
