Tom, thanks for sharing your expertise. I will 
add the resume function to my append line in 
lilo.conf.
My swap is found at /dev/hda6 on this system.

Is this an oversight on the part of the Mdk 
installer not to add this? Was my swap partition 
not able to function w/o the "resume"?
