Yes, my internal ethernet subnet is 192.168.0.0.

And "dhcpd" daemon is running and is configured (with DHCP configuration wizard).

I had a problem similar to this when I tried to configure my system. And it was because the silly wizard installs tmdns (?) even though you have bind installed. The result being tmdns takes over and bind never gets to do its job.

Thanks a lot, but I already installed Mandrake 9.2 back, I didn't have time :(
When I have more time I'll tray again.
