Hi I managed to get Xmms to work. I downloaded and installed xmms-cdread rpm and it works. So in theory there is no reason why I can't get Xine and Totem to work.
I am convinced its a plugin problem I.E. that I don't have the necessary plugins installed. Can sombody who is familiar with these things tell me which plugins I need to get both Xine and Totem to play audio CDs.
