If server then install the drakwizard RPM and there will be a new server set up section in Mandrake Control Centre. You can also use webmin if you install webmin RPM and then point a browser to https://localhost:10000
For dhcp client you can put keywords in the network config files /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-xxxx where xxxx is the interface name. Keywords I am aware of are :- DHCP_HOSTNAME= DHCP_CLIENT=/sbin/pump or /sbin/dhclient or /sbin/dhcpcd (dhclient is the default) NEEDHOSTNAME PEERDNS PEERYP PEERNTPD DHCP_TIMEOUT See 'man dhclient' (or man pump or man dhcpcd) for an explanation of the parameters these keywords translate to. There are radio buttons in the Mandrake network connection wizard to set some of these keywords. derek -- www.jennings.homelinux.net http://twiki.mdklinuxfaq.org
