No, I've never had that happen to me in Quake 2...get on the Icculus mailing
list and ask/search on there, I believe I've seen that issue come up.

I'll take a look through my archive of that mailing list here in a bit and see
if I can find where that came up/any possible sol'ns.

The Linux client for MOHAA(oh, man I love that game) needs no install, but you
do have to either install MOHAA with WineX or copy the install dir from a
Windows box/partition AFAIK. Just run the Linux binary in the MOHAA dir and yer
on yer way.

The game plays a lot smoother running natively, though it's a beta, so there are
some bugs.
