Yes. But at the risk of corrupting or losing your Windows XP filesystem. Writing NTFS is not yet fully trusted by most open source authors due to unpublished quirks. You would do much better to set up a smaller, FAT32 partition and use that for transferring files. -- Bryan Phinney
