Hi Julie,
I have a Conexant modem running on Mdk10. It is an hcf modem and I also downloaded the driver from the Linuxant site.
I installed the rpm then as root ran hcfpciconfig which led me through the configuration. (Mandrake Control Centre still doesn't recognise my modem.)
I don't know whether this applies to hsf modems, but it may do.
Simon.
Thanks Simon, I will try that next.

why linux? because MS is to OS as AOL is to ISP.
