'md5sum some_file.iso' on the downloads. 'dd if=/dev/cdrom | md5sum' for the cd's according to the twiki: http://mandrake.vmlinuz.ca/bin/view/Main/BurningCDsFromISOs
That twiki page mentions something interesting that can go wrong. You can get the original md5sums from the web :-)
