The additional drivers floppy is a FD that contains drivers for hardware that is not on the dist it was pretty common in RH-7 days likely you shouldn't need it. But you do need a CD-ROM driver that will wake up your CD. If you have an old copy of RH or Caldera(from the same era) around there should be a driver on that dist that will build a FD that may install your MDK dist.
