You need to add the KDE3.3 directory as an source for urpmi.  Do that through 
the Control Centre.  And yes, I did get better results doing a clean install 
rather than an upgrade, but results vary depending on what 3.2 packages 
installed.  kdepim and kdewebdev were the biggest problems.
