I've done it in 15 minutes being really *DUMB*
newbie... Install first the kdearts package (and one
dependency) and all the rest after. (Because kdearts
for KDE 3.2 was not in the distro first time...)
BUT KDE 3.3 is not tested throughfully, so you may
have many problems. Just stay .1-.2 versions back when
you've got a stable installation if you're not
prepared to tweak MDK. Learn first then react!

They are not for you only. I am not a club member (it
is very complicated in my country to pay via
banks...),
but there were always somebody able to answer me.
