Another option is to run midnight commander (mc) from the terminal, after su ing. Not as pretty as Konqueror though....

Back in the "old days", before 9.1, there was a shortcut in the start menu for accomplishing this, but it was removed for security purposes. Since then, I make my own shortcut for this action.
