I realized only much later: your question seems to imply that Kdar would
actually write to CD or DVD. It doesn't. It creates an archive the size of
any media (bearing in mind the bugs) and the archive should be burned to
media by the user. So, my answer could also have been: It works with any
media, but I haven't tried any larger than 703 Mb.
