[newbie] Quake 3 Arena video cards

Does anyone know if the demo of Quake 3 Arena that just came out works with any other cards that those based on 3Dfx???? I really don't wanna have to download this thing only to find out that I can't use it. Also, how can I set up my Red Hat 6.1 box to run it using a TNT2 Ultra card????
