Anne , you didn't have such a problem with CD-RW and DVD-RW for 1 simple
reason: obviously you didn't unplug them from your PC ,so supermount can
work properly, and supermount was created to manage Floppyes and CDs 
devices  plugged in from the start to the end of your PC sessions.
