Hi,

Kinda hard to answer:

It comes down to who and where you ask/look.

Lets say you ask about a problem your having, in the #Linux Ch, via
Mirc or whatever.

(If they tell you anything that helps, your lucky.)

.......

As far as books go, you have to get one that suits your
Linux version. Then, you'll most likly never find the
asnwer to "that certain question" your looking for.

.......

The question I could not get answered is:

Why is Linux crashing on my 486-dx4-100.
It starts to install packages from cd-rom and all
of a sudden - 1's and 0's start scrolling on the
screen while and cd-rom is still turning.
This happens with any version "above" 2.1
(Redhat 2.1 worked fine.) How can I upgrade ..
what is wrong?

I now have a newer computer, but I never
got an answer for that question.
