What modem is it? It *may* be a Win/Lin modem. Those MAY be
better supported under Caldera. OTOH, it may be a simple
case of needing to set up your modem under Mandrake. There
needs to be a sym-link from /dev/ttyS2 to /dev/modem.
See if that doesn't help...
