Well I am still trying to get kwvdial to be able to find a DNS (nameserver). Despite having checked every permission I can find and making sure my resolv.conf file has all the addresses of my ISP's nameserver it still refuses to work It will dial in and evidently start pppd but when firing up e-mail or Netscape no server is available. I'm sure that this is a simple problem as all is well when running wvdial as root. Yes it dials logs in, starts pppd and I am able to use netscape and my e-mail client without any problems at all when running as logged in root. There must be some permission I'm missing. Perhaps host,hosts.allow ..... hm........ As always any help would be greatly appreciated.
