[newbie] IDE CD-RW help

I noticed a message about IDE CD-RW's, and
http://www.midkan.com/paulb/mycdr.htm really helped me get it going. 
The append command John mention works too, but since my system isn't
SCSI, i had to insert the modules so that it could burn.  Hope this
