[newbie] Ressurection

I'm just resurrecting an od computer for fun.  YEt, all i can see is
BASH in a DOS type environment.  It seems the crappy video card doesn't
have support by Linux-Mandrake 6.5.  (ATI Video Xpression), and I'm
stumped.
