If you log in as a user, you don't really have to worry about
a virus, because all you root files are not accessable under
a user login. If you surf the net as root (which is insane) you 
might on the off chance come across something that might be dangerous.
Linux is not windblow$. Linux is much more secure because
you can see what you are installing and the file system is
setup in such a way that you would have to come across a very
malicious virus to do any damage. Not to mention you can kill
any app that is running. Plus most virus programs are written for Windoze.
Hmmm ...
You could probably search for something and actually find
some anti-viral software out there, but as yet, it's quite pointless.
