Joe:

I hit a brick wall trying to run the 3CCFE575BT 10/100 MHz card in my
solo2500.  I could not ping any address outside my gateway.  I then got
another PCMCIA card (3C589D-TP), and it flew!  Worked like a champ.  It
turns out the 3CCFE575BT was marginally supported.

I bet your 3c575 is in the same boat!
