John, it was that simple to find the card and now the system
recognizes both the card and the CDVR, in the settings , scsi
(on the kde desktop) it now shows "attached devices:"
Host: scsi0 Channel:00 Id: 05 Lun : 00
Vendor : Phillips Model : CDD2600 Rev: 1.07
Type : CD-ROM ANSI SCSI revision : 02
Question is, I can't mount it, and what I am wanting to do is make
this my only cdrom on this machine, since I have numerous others
that can be accessed on a share. What in the heck am I doing or not
doing?
