Wondering if any one might offer a suggestion has to how I can get linux to
work on my machine. Just had a relatively easy install using Mandrake 6.5,
but my computer hangs about a minute after booting. I get the KDE or GNOME
or XFREE to boot, and as I begin to look around, freeze. Every time. Only
thing that doesn't crash is selecting the Failsafe option when loggin in.
But the GUI's would be preferable.
Anyway, thanks in advance!

my system: AMD 200Mhz, 98MB ram, pretty standard devices.
