Well, first off, try looking up information on the telnet daemon, i.e.
'telnetd'. This allows you to be a telnet 'server', and allow telneting
into your box from outside. Try 'man telnet' for the client side, or
'man telnetd' for the server side information. I can dig around a
little more later, but you would be better served in the long run to
find it yourself... nothing wrong with a 'push' in the right direction
though. ;) I've been in the same situation myself before, and probably
will be again in the future. We all have/will be.
